วัดธาตุ​ทอง​ -​ ผมว่าหลาย​ ๆ​ ท่านที่โดยสารรถไฟฟ้า​ BTS.​ เป็น​ประจำ​ เมื่อผ่านสถานีเอกมัย​ มองไปจะเห็นเจดีย์​สีทองอร่าม​ ประดิษฐาน​ อยู่​ไกล​ๆ​ สวยงามมาก ที่สำคัญ​ดู​ contrast. กับตึกรามห้างสรรพสินค้า​ที่ตั้งตรงข้ามราวกับ​ โลกในอดีตกับปัจจุบัน​ประจันหน้ากันแบบ​ ไม่เกรงใจ

ส่วนตัว​ จำได้ว่าเคยลงภาพและเรื่องราวของวัดธาตุทองไปแล้ว​ แต่ตอนนั้น​ พระมหาเจดีย์​กำลัง​บูรณะ​ วันนี้ขอแก้ตัว​ นำภาพสวย​ ๆ​ และเรื่องราววัดในเมือง​ ของชาวสุขุมวิท​แห่งนี้กลับมาอีกครั้ง​ มาฟังกันครับ​ วัดธาตุทอง

พื้นที่แห่งนี้​ แต่เดิมเป็นที่ตั้งของวัดหน้าพระธาตุกับวัดทองล่าง ซึ่งวัดหน้าพระธาตุเป็นวัดเก่าแก่ที่สร้างขึ้นในสมัยอยุธยา ตั้งอยู่ริมฝั่งแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา โดยที่มาของชื่อวัดก็มาจากหน้าวัดมีพระเจดีย์องค์ใหญ่บรรจุพระบรมสารีริกธาตุอยู่ภายใน ส่วนวัดทองล่างนั้นเดิมทีเป็นสวนผลไม้ที่มีต้นโพธิ์ขนาดใหญ่ตั้งอยู่กลางสวน เจ้าของสวนเห็นว่าต้นโพธิ์ควรเป็นต้นไม้ในวัดมากกว่าที่จะปลูกไว้ในบ้าน ประกอบกับไม่ต้องการโค่นทิ้ง เพราะเกรงว่าจะก่อให้เกิดอันตรายต่อตนเองและครอบครัว จึงได้บริจาคที่ดินในบริเวณนั้นเพื่อสร้างเป็นวัดเล็ก ๆ ขึ้นมาและตั้งชื่อว่า วัดโพธิ์สุวรรณาราม หรือ วัดโพธิ์ทอง ต่อมาชาวบ้านในแถบนั้นเรียกชื่ออย่างสั้น ๆ ว่า วัดทอง แต่ทว่าตามริมฝั่งแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาทั้งตอนบนและตอนล่างมีวัดทองอยู่หลายแห่ง ชาวบ้านจึงเรียกอีกชื่อหนึ่งว่า วัดทองล่าง นั่นเอง

ต่อมาในปี พ.ศ. 2480 รัฐบาลในสมัยนั้นต้องการขอเวนคืนพื้นที่วัดหน้าพระธาตุและวัดทองล่าง เพื่อสร้างท่าเรือกรุงเทพฯ โดยชดเชยเงินให้ทั้ง 2 วัด เพื่อไปรวมกับวัดอื่นหรือสร้างวัดใหม่ขึ้นมา ทำให้คณะสงฆ์มีการจัดตั้งคณะกรรมการขึ้น และมีความเห็นพ้องต้องกันในการซื้อที่ดินปัจจุบัน พร้อมกับย้ายเสนาสนะถาวรวัตถุของทั้ง 2 วัดมาปลูกสร้างรวมกันที่ตำบล คลองบ้านกล้วย โดยมีสมเด็จพระสังฆราชเจ้า กรมหลวงวชิรญาณวงศ์ เจ้าคณะใหญ่ธรรมยุต เจ้าอาวาสวัดบวรนิเวศวิหาร เป็นองค์อุปถัมภ์ และตั้งชื่อว่า วัดธาตุทอง โดยมีที่มาจากการนำชื่อของทั้ง 2 วัดรวมเข้าด้วยกัน เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2481

ในปี พ.ศ. 2550 สมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ รับวัดธาตุทองไว้ในพระอุปถัมภ์ และประทานตราสัญลักษณ์ใหม่ให้แก่วัด จากนั้นในเดือนตุลาคมปีเดียวกัน พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ ยกให้ วัดธาตุทอง เป็นพระอารามหลวงชั้นตรี ชนิดสามัญ มาจนถึงปัจจุบัน

สิ่งที่ห้ามพลาด​ ไปกราบพระในพระอุโบสถ ภายใน​ ประดิษฐาน พระสัพพัญญู พระประธานประจำพระอุโบสถ มีลักษณะเป็นพระพุทธรูปปางมารวิชัย หน้าตักกว้าง 70 นิ้ว สร้างขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2495 พระพุทธชินินทร ที่เป็นพระประจำอุโบสถ สมัยอู่ทอง และพระพุทธมนต์ปรีชา สุโขทัย ที่เป็นพระประธานหอประชุม

ถัดจากนั้น​เดินไปด้านหลัง​ ไปสักการะ​ พระมหาเจดีย์ 84 พรรษา ราชนครินทร์ เป็นพระเจดีย์ที่สร้างขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2553 เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร และสมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ โดยใช้เป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระบรมสารีริกธาตุและพระพุทธรูปจากทั่วโลก รวมถึงพระบรมสารีริกธาตุจากหลวงพ่อไจทีเซา เจ้าอาวาสวัดไจทีเซา ในประเทศพม่าด้วยครับ​

วัดชมภูเวก - พาไปชมวัดมอญ กับ ภาพสีฝุ่นโบราณบนผนังโบสถ์ที่ได้รับการยกย่องว่าสวยงาม และสมบูรณ์ที่สุดในประเทศไทย

วัดชมภูเวก ตั้งอยู่แถวสนามบินน้ำ สันนิษฐานว่าก่อสร้างโดยชาวมอญที่อพยพมาตั้งถิ่นฐานตั้งแต่สมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยา ราว ๆ พศ 2300 เดิมชื่อว่า วัดชมภูวิเวก แปลว่า วัดที่ตั้งอยู่บนเนินอันเงียบสงบ ภายหลัง น่าจะเพี้ยนเป็น วัดชมภูเวก

ทันทีที่เดินเข้ามา ก็จะเห็น พระมุดตา (ชื่อเรียกเจดีย์ที่มีศิลปะผสมผสานของมอญอยู่) สีขาว โดดเด่นสวยงามมาก ด้านหลังเจดีย์จะมีโบสถ์มหาอุด ผนังภายในมีภาพวาดสีฝุ่นที่งดงาม โดยเฉพาะภาพ พระแม่ธรณีบีบมวยผม ที่อยู่เหนือประตูโบสถ์ ทางพุทธศิลป์แล้วได้รับการยกย่อง จัดว่าเป็นภาพที่สวยงามและสมบูรณ์ที่สุด ปัจจุบันโบสถ์มหาอุดดังกล่าวได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียน เป็นโบราณสถานของชาติ

นอกจากนี้ สายมู ห้ามพลาด ถัดไปด้านข้างโบสถ์มหาอุด เราสามารถลอดอุโบสถเพื่อสะเดาะเคราะห์ เสริมสร้างสิริมงคลให้กับชีวิตได้ โดยทางทางยังจัดให้มีการปิดทองลูกนิมิต และพระ ที่ใต้อุโบสถครับ

เป็นไงครับ จะชมพุทธศิลป์ ก็มีของดี ระดับประเทศ จะเอาสะเดาะเคราะห์ ก็มาได้ หรือ สายถ่ายภาพก็มีมุมสวยๆ ให้ได้กดชัตเตอร์กัน ใกล้ๆ แค่ นนทบุรี นี่เอง ไม่มา ถือว่าพลาดนะครับ

วัดหนองป่าพง – ย้อนรำลึกความหลัง เมื่อเกือบยี่สิบปีก่อน ผมได้มีโอกาสสัมผัส วัดหนองป่าพง ด้วยความไม่รู้ และไม่ลึกซึ้งถึงแวดวงพระพุทธศาสนา เลยทำให้การไปวัดหนองป่าพง ครั้งแรก ผมไม่ได้อะไรติดมือติดใจกลับมาเป็นวิทยาทานเลย จนเมื่อครั้งล่าสุดที่ไป ชีวิตมีประสบการณ์ และพอมีพื้นฐานพุทธศาสนาเพิ่มขึ้นบ้าง ครั้งนี้ เป็นการใช้เวลาอยู่ที่วัดนานขึ้น พร้อมพกพาความรู้สึก ความประทับใจที่ต่างออกไป กลับออกมาด้วยอย่างปลื้มอกปลื้มใจ ล้อมวงมาฟังกันครับ วัดหนองป่าพง อุบลราชธานี (ยาวสักหน่อยนะครับ)

คงจะไม่ถูกต้อง ถ้าจะกล่าวถึงวัดหนองป่าพง โดยไม่กล่าวถึง หลวงปู่ชา

หลวงปู่ชา พระสำคัญผู้ก่อตั้งวัดแห่งนี้ ให้สามารถไปเผยแพร่พุทธศาสนาได้กว้างไกล ไม่เพียงแค่ในประเทศไทย หากแต่ไปไกลถึงสิบกว่าประเทศทั่วโลก หลวงปู่ชา พระโพธิญาณเถร (ชา สุภทฺโท) แห่งวัดหนองป่าพง จ.อุบลราชธานี ต้นแบบของพระป่าทั่วโลก ด้วยวัตรปฎิบัติที่เคร่งครัดสายวิปัสสนากรรมฐานที่มีต้นแบบจาก"พระอาจารย์มั่น ภูริทัตโต"

หลวงปู่ชา หรือ พระโพธิญาณเถร (ชา สุภทฺโท) เกิดเมื่อ วันที่ 17 มิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2461 ตรงกับ วันศุกร์ขึ้น 7 ค่ำ เดือน 7 ปีมะเมีย ณ บ้านจิกก่อ หมู่ที่ 9 ตำบลธาตุ อำเภอวารินชำราบ จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี บิดาชื่อนายมา ช่วงโชติ มารดาชื่อ นางพิมพ์ ช่วงโชติ มีพี่น้องร่วมบิดามารดาเดียวกันจำนวน 10 คน ในวัยเด็ก หลวงปู่ชาเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษา ที่โรงเรียนบ้านก่อ ตำบลธาตุ อำเภอวารินชำราบ จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี จนจบชั้นประถม 1 จึงขอลาออกเพื่อมาบวชเรียนตามความสนใจของตนเอง โดยช่วงอายุ 13 ปี หลังจากลาออกจากโรงเรียนประถมศึกษา โยมบิดาได้นำไปฝากกับเจ้าอาวาสเพื่อเรียนรู้บุพกิจเบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับบรรพชาวิธี จึงได้รับอนุญาตให้บรรพชาเป็น “สามเณรชา โชติช่วง” จนอยู่ปฏิบัติครูอาจารย์ เป็นเวลา 3 ปี ได้แล้วจึงได้ลาสิกขาบทมาช่วยบิดามารดาทำไร่ทำนา แต่ด้วยจิตใจที่ใฝ่ในทางธรรม เมื่ออายุครบ 20 ปีบริบูรณ์ จึงลาพ่อแม่มาบวชเป็นพระ โดยอุปสมบทเมื่อวันที่ 26 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2482 เวลา 13.55 น. ณ พัทธสีมา วัดก่อใน ตำบลธาตุ อำเภอวารินชำราบ อุบลราชธานี พระชา สุภทฺโท ได้จำพรรษาอยู่ ณ วัดก่อนอก 2 พรรษา ตั้งใจศึกษาปริยัติธรรม ทั้งจากตำรับตำราและจากครูอาจารย์ จนสอบนักธรรมชั้นตรีได้ในสำนักวัดแห่งนี้ แต่โชคร้าย ช่วงนั้น หลวงพ่อชา ได้ว่างเว้นจากการศึกษา เพื่อไปดูแลโยมบิดาที่ป่วย แม้หลวงพ่อชา ก็เกิดความลังเลใจ พะว้าพะวง ห่วงการศึกษาก็ห่วง ห่วงโยมบิดาก็ห่วง แต่ความห่วงผู้บังเกิดเกล้ามีน้ำหนักมากกว่า เพราะโยมบิดาเป็นผู้มีพระคุณอย่างเหลือล้น หลวงปู่จึงตัดสินใจกลับไปดูแลโยมพ่อทั้งที่วันสอบนักธรรมก็ใกล้เข้ามาทุกที แต่ก็เลือกที่จะเดินในเส้นทางสายกตัญญุตา โดยที่สุด มาอยู่เฝ้าดูแลอาการป่วยของโยมพ่อนับเป็นเวลา 13 วัน โยมพ่อจึงได้ถึงแก่กรรม (ปี 2483)

หลังจากนั้น หลวงปู่ชา ก็ได้เดินทางไปศึกษาเล่าเรียนยังที่ต่างๆ เช่น ที่สำนักของหลวงพ่อเภา วัดเขาวงกฏ จ.ลพบุรี และพระอาจารย์ชาวกัมพูชาที่เป็นพระธุดงค์ซึ่งได้พบกันที่วัดเขาวงกฏ หลวงปู่กินรี อาจารย์คำดี หลวงปู่ทองรัตน์ พระอาจารย์มั่น เป็นต้น พออินทรีย์แก่กล้าแล้วก็ออกธุดงค์ปฏิบัติธรรมต่อไปเรื่อยๆ โดยยังดำรงสมณเพศเป็นพระมหานิกายอยู่ตลอดเวลา

กิจที่หลวงปู่ฯ โปรดปราน คือการได้ธุดงค์ไปยังที่ต่าง ๆ ทั่วประเทศ เพื่อโปรดสานุศิษย์และเผยแพร่พุทธศาสนา จนที่สุดเมื่อคณะศิษย์ และหลวงพ่อได้เดินทางมาถึงชายดงป่าพง ตรงกับวันที่ 8 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2497 พอเช้าวันที่ 9 มีนาคม 2497 จึงได้พากันเข้าสำรวจ สถานที่พักในดงป่านี้ และได้ช่วยกันดำเนินการสร้างวัดป่าขึ้น ซึ่งเรารู้จักในปัจจุบัน คือ “วัดหนองป่าพง”

จนภายหลังมีสานุศิษย์มากมายทั้งไทยและเทศ ขยายไปหลายสาขา ดังที่กล่าวไปข้างต้น และท่านดำรงตำแหน่งเจ้าอาวาสวัดนี้มาโดยตลอด และถึงแก่มรณภาพเมื่อ 16 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2535 เวลา 05.20 น. ที่ วัดหนองป่าพง อย่างสงบท่ามกลางธรรมสังเวชของศิษยานุศิษย์จากทุกสารทิศทั่วโลก ด้วยความที่วัดหนองป่าพง มีพระสงฆ์ต่างชาติ เป็นจำนวนมาก เคยมีคนไปถามหลวงปู่ว่า พูดภาษาอังกฤษไม่ได้ แล้วจะสอนชาวต่างชาติได้อย่างไร หลวงปู่ท่านเมตตาตอบว่า น้ำร้อน ที่ฝรั่งว่ากันว่า ฮ๊อตวอเตอร์ เอามือลงไปสัมผัส ทุกชาติก็รู้ว่าร้อน ไม่เห็นต้องรู้ภาษาก่อนเลย นัยว่า ธรรมะ เรียนรู้ได้จากการสัมผัส การปฏิบัติ มิใช่การอ่านเขียนเท่านั้น

ปัจจุบัน แม้หลวงปู่ชาฯ จะละสังขารไปแล้วกว่าสามสิบปีกว่าปี คำสอนและวัตรปฏิบัติอันดีงาม ก็ยังอยู่ในความทรงจำสานุศิษย์ทั้งหลาย เห็นได้จากการที่กลับไปสัมผัส วัดหนองป่าพง อีกครั้ง เมื่อเร็ว ๆ นี้ ความสงบ และ ความเคร่งครัด แบบพระป่า ยังคงมีให้เห็นและสัมผัสได้ มีโอกาสได้แวะเข้าไปชม พิพิธภัณฑ์พระโพธิญาณเถร (ชา สุภัทโท) โดยจะจัดแสดงเครื่องอัฐบริขารและหุ่นขี้ผึ้งของหลวงปู่ชา สุภัทโท มีเครื่องทองเหลือง พระพุทธรูป และ เจดีย์ศรีโพธิญาณ เป็นสถานที่พระราชทานเพลิงศพของหลวงปู่ชาอีกด้วย จุดเด่นที่ประทับใจ คือ ป้าย คำสอนต่าง ๆ ที่ติดไว้ตามต้นไม้ อ่านแล้วทำให้เราได้นึกทบทวนชีวิตเราไปด้วยขณะเดินชมไปเงียบ ๆ นอกจากนี้ ได้มีโอกาสเข้าไปที่ อุโบสถด้านใน ทางเข้าเขตสังฆาวาส ที่พระสงฆ์ใช้ทำวัด ทำให้พอนึกเห็นภาพบรรยากาศเมื่อสมัยก่อน ที่หลวงปู่ ลงมาเทศนาธรรม
