Rosemary and clove are both spices that are commonly used in culinary preparations and both of them contain some oxalic acid and lectin proteins. However, they do not contain high amounts of these compounds, and for most healthy individuals, consuming them in moderation should not pose any problems.

Here are the main health benefits of consuming rosemary and clove spice every day:

1. Rosemary benefits: As I mentioned earlier, rosemary contains several anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds that may provide several health benefits. Some studies also suggest that rosemary may improve brain function and memory, support digestive function, and respiratory function.

2. Cloves benefits: Clove is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which can help improve immune function and reduce the risk of chronic illnesses. Clove is also used in traditional medicine to relieve digestive issues like upset stomach, bloating, and constipation. Some studies suggest that cloves may support healthy blood sugar levels.

It is important to note that consuming spices in large amounts may lead to potential side effects like heartburn, indigestion, or allergic reactions. Therefore, consuming both spices in moderation is key to enjoy their benefits, without risks. Remember to talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian before adding them to your daily diet, especially if you have any specific health concerns or are taking any medications.

I mix up 100 g rosemary
+ 50 g clove

Mix everything in the coffee grinder
until you see very fine powder...

and then add one or two teaspoons into the hot water with or without turmeric, let's simmer 5 minutes, and this is an interesting drink.

After the research this month about oxalic acid and turmeric being high in oxalic acid ...

I'm taking a break from turmeric for the next 2 months, in its place rosemary and clove which are both low in oxalic acid and lectins..

I'm 3 days into the plan and so far so good, I've used turmeric daily for many years now probably decades, and it's been good, however I am expecting better results from rosemary and clove.
